A large auto campground (about 130 sites) among pines on the Lake Biwa shore at Omi-Shirahama, inside a quasi-national park. Run with a ryokan that has radium baths with a lake-view open-air bath.

Good to know
Ground fires are not allowed; iron plates are lent free for fires. Hand fireworks until 22:00. Smoking is banned on the campground.
Access
JR Kosei Line to Omi-Takashima Station (69 min from Osaka), then about 4 km (40 min walk), or reserve the shared taxi from Adogawa Station to Omi-Shirahama.
