Good to know
No blankets or BBQ stoves are lent out. Water at the cooking hut is not drinkable.
Access
From Oita-Miyakochi IC (Higashi-Kyushu Expressway), take Route 197 and prefectural roads 38 and 21 toward Usuki, then about 1.5 km of forest road from Kurokurai Pass. Overnight guests may drive in via the temple; day visitors park at the barricade.
