A forest park adjacent to the Yanbaru World Natural Heritage area in Kunigami village, with campsites (forest plaza, camping platforms), bungalows, tree houses, cabins and cottages. Known for stargazing, guided forest walks and a lookout over the East China Sea.

Facilities

Good to know

Fires only with a fire stand and fire sheet in designated areas; gathering fallen wood and collecting wildlife is prohibited. Nobody may enter 18:00-9:00 except guests and tour participants. Habu snakes live here.

Access

From Naha IC take the Okinawa Expressway to Kyoda IC, then Route 58. Bus: express 111/117 to Nago, then route 67 to 'Okuma' or 'Uejima-iriguchi' (about 3 km uphill on foot or taxi).
