Reservation-only campground still being cleared by hand in Ojiro, Kami town, northern Hyogo - 'just a mountain'. A meadow area with 8 large plots (about 13 x 13 m, car beside tent, pets OK, solo OK) and a forest area with limited numbers for wild-style camping, big tents and ground fires. Portable flush toilets and a wash basin; water is not drinkable.

Facilities

Good to know

Take all garbage home and seal food waste (deer, boar and other wildlife). Water on site is not drinkable. No music audible to other sites. Payment cash or PayPay only, no cards.

Access

About 50 min from Yoka-Hyonosen IC (Kita-Kinki Toyooka Expressway); from Tottori take Route 9 and turn at the Ojiroguchi junction, about 20 min (Route 482 is closed). Train: JR Yoka Station, Zentan Bus to Akioka, then 1.5 h on foot. Hot springs Ojiron 20 min and Yumura Onsen 40 min by car.
