Soebetsu Mini Visitor Center
添別ミニビジターセンター
A log-cabin style lodge at Soibetsu Beech Forest in Kuromatsunai, rented one group per day (about 10 minutes by car from town). It has beds, a kitchen and showers, and you may also pitch your own tent on the grounds at the same price. The beech forest behind it is open to walkers.

Good to know
Bears live in the forest: go in groups and use the bear bells provided. Accommodation tax of 100 yen per person applies from April 2026.
Access
About 10-15 min by car from Kuromatsunai town; JR Kuromatsunai Station then about 15 min by taxi.
