Good to know
Quiet after 21:00. Do not leave food or garbage outside (wildlife). Buy designated garbage bags. No ground fires. Hand-held fireworks only, in the designated area until 21:00. No washing area for BBQ grills or fire pits.
Access
From Sapporo-Nishi IC take the Sasson Expressway toward Otaru and exit at Shioya toll gate (about 1 hour if avoiding toll roads). By public transit, JR Otaru Station then Bus 20 (Shakotan line). Momonai beach 3 min by car.
