A lakeside campground at 320 m elevation beside the 700 m-circumference Aso pond in Hoshino village, Yame, with 26 lodges and bungalows plus free tent sites. A hot spring bath is a 5-7 minute walk away, and there is no auto camping.

Good to know
No generators, loudspeakers or speakers. Firecrackers, rockets and aerial fireworks banned. No swimming or fishing in the pond. No power sites.
Access
Hoshino village, Yame. Free car park; no parking on nearby roads. Hot spring Ikenoyamaso about 5-7 minutes on foot.
