Small auto campground on natural terrain in Akiu, Taihaku-ku, Sendai, about 30 minutes from the city centre, with a stream, trees and starry skies. Gravel pitch sites A-D and a soil free site E (can be booked exclusively); cars drive onto the sites and car camping is allowed. Also a drone practice field.

Good to know
No drinking water or washing-up sinks; take all household rubbish home. Check in by 17:00. Fire stands required except on site E; no generators, loud equipment, fireworks or long idling. No rental gear.
Access
About 30 min by car from central Sendai or from Sendai-minami IC (Tohoku Expressway). Free parking for 20 cars.
